City of West Palm Beach

The city of West Palm Beach has its own taxi cab rates, which apply to all cab companies doing business within the city.

Start up rate
The meter starts with $ 2.50 for the 1/8 of a mile and charges .33 cents for each additional 1/8 of a mile

Waiting time
The meter will automatically charge .33 cents each 40 seconds when the vehicle is stopped
Extras
There is a $3.00 charge for each additional passenger. There is no charge for luggage.

Miami Dade County – Suburban

The meter starts with $2.50 for the first 1/12 mile for all trips outside the city of West Palm Beach, and charges .25 cents for each additional 1/12 of a mile or fraction of a mile.

Waiting time
The meter will automatically charge .25 cents per 36 seconds when the vehicle is stopped.

Extras
More than two passengers add $ 3.00 for each additional passenger. There is no charge for luggage .
